Guilhem, Guillaume, and Théau, set off from Belgium to reach Cambodia, covering 19,000 km in a Renault 4L, all for the benefit of two associations: "Pour un Sourire d'Enfant" (For a Child's Smile) and "1 Lettre 1 Sourire" (1 Letter 1 Smile), in a Renault 4L from Belgium to Cambodia.
Their departure took place on Sunday, February 5, 2023, with the goal of reaching their destination by July 1, 2023. This represents a period of 5 months and some extra days to achieve their objective. From a geographical perspective, they crossed moreover 22 countries.
Mission
Throughout their adventure, their primary mission is to raise funds for the children of PSE, ensuring they have access to proper accommodation and valuable educational or vocational training opportunities. Along their journey, they also aim to visit schools, using these encounters as an opportunity to raise awareness among students about the challenges faced by isolated elderly individuals. Additionally, they plan to maintain a weekly connection with retirement homes in Brussels, sharing their travel experiences with residents to bring a taste of the world to them. Importantly, their journey is not just about financial support but also about fostering connections, sharing smiles, and building bridges between generations.
